At Collaboration Station, it is not our intention to re-invent the wheel. There are many entrepreneurial resources in the geographic areas that we serve that we direct clients to on a weekly basis. What we bring to the table are non-traditional social and professional experiences that convey nonprofit and for-profit business information in laymen’s terms that prepare these entrepreneurs for long-term business management; enabling them to make informed decisions and determine practical plans of action for their business growth and development. To accomplish this, we have developed the following programs:
The I.C. (Information Clearinghouse): A clearinghouse of general business information, accessible by phone and email on various topics to include: legal structure, insurance, grant writing, program development, outcomes & evaluation, bookkeeping and trends in nonprofit management. The I.C. also features a referral service to other consultants and agencies that can provide more detailed information on your for-profit and nonprofit business questions.
Education Clinics:Different training workshops and mini-conferences designed to help entrepreneurs gain a better understanding of business management basics and their administrative responsibilities as CEOs.Learn more about upcoming education clinics on our Workshops & Coaching page.
Professional Coaching & Mentoring:Do you find yourself “at a crossroads” or just plain “stuck” in moving your business idea forward?Coaching provides one-on-one learning sessions where clients receive individualized attention to discuss their entrepreneurial challenges in detail. Learn more about our professional coaching opportunities on our Workshops & Coaching page.
Special Projects in Entrepreneurship: To help advance our cause, Collaboration Station will occasionally take on projects that demonstrate a synergy between entrepreneurship, economic development and helping low income individuals come-off public benefits. Initiatives in the planning stages include a focus on: fatherhood, urban farming, and small business retail incubators. Support Programs for Entrepreneurs:Even if you are a familiy of ONE, you still need support if you are going to move forward with your entrepreneursip goals. To help, we offer support in the form of health & wellness activities, financial subsidies, basic needs supplies and emotional encouragement that improve the entrepreneurs' mental and physical health.
